Celts from Australia are the best! THE RUMJACKS; behind a name that sounds like a summer drink hides a band which lends credibility to Celtic Punk music. Their attachment to their Celtic roots and to punk rock clearly shows in their two EP and three albums, but it’s also the case for ska/reggae rhythms, sing-along choruses and emotional ballades. Their songs obviously include traditional instruments; mandolin, banjo, bouzouki and the staple Irish flute. Thus, their influences are varied and they offer a refreshing and strong Celtic punk music which stays with the audience’s mind and heart.
